Construction : Permanently Lubricated HDPE Ducts are formed by co extrusion technique and are used for laying Optical Fiber Cables as underground ducting / conduits.
Applications : It is used for installing underground optic fiber cables and underground electric power supply. It helps to safeguard the fiber & electric cables from water, oils, etc.
Characteristics : Co-efficient of friction – max 0.344 external surface of sub-duct with PVC main duct – max 0.056 internal surface of sub-duct against rope – max 0.08 internal surface of sub-duct against cable.
